1. Introduction

Welcome to MyCalTrack, operated by Codeloom Software Solutions. We understand that your health data is deeply personal. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information within our mobile application and related services.

2. Information Collection

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your email, name, and basic physiological data (age, gender, height, weight) required to calculate your metabolic baseline (BMR) and nutritional goals.

2.2 Health Platform Integration (HealthKit & Health Connect)

MyCalTrack integrates with Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android). We only access this data if you provide explicit permission within the app. Data synced includes:

• Steps and Activity levels
• Heart Rate (resting and active)
• Body Weight and Composition
• Sleep duration and quality
• Water intake

Note: We do not use Health Data for marketing or advertising purposes. This data is used strictly to power your metabolic dashboard and in-app adventures.

2.3 Camera & Image Data

Our Barcode Scanner requires camera access. Barcode processing happens locally on your device or via secure API calls. We do not store photographs from your camera roll unless you explicitly upload them as profile pictures or attach them to a specific food log for support verification.

2.4 Flavor DNA & AI Analysis

To provide "Flavor DNA" insights, our neural engine analyzes your anonymized logging patterns. This analysis is processed on our secure servers but is decoupled from your direct identity to ensure your specific eating habits remain private.

3. Data Sharing & Social Features

3.1 Family & Couple Hub

If you choose to join a Family or Couple Hub, certain data points (such as your daily goal completion, streaks, and shared pet status) will be visible to other members of that hub. You can leave a hub or adjust sharing permissions at any time within the Social settings.

3.2 Third-Party Services

We use industry-standard providers for specific functions:

• Authentication: Secure login management.
• Database: Encrypted cloud storage of your logs.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (e.g., button clicks) to improve the app.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request full data deletion at any time through the "Profile > Privacy > Delete Account" option in the app. Once requested, your personal data will be purged from our active databases within 30 days.
